The Earth Week RE-Use & ECO-Fair is drawing closer. It is Saturday, April 23rd from 9 am – 3:00 pm at the MSV Community Centre.
We hope that you’ll consider investing some of your time to help out at this community happening.
Successful events live & die to the degree that they are embraced by people in our community.
We hope that you feel that this event is on the right track; working towards a zero-waste, sharing culture.
The volunteers from last year’s weighing team have offered again this year to quantify the volume of goods donated.
There are many other tasks that require volunteers, i.e. greeters at the door, kitchen help, attending to safety issues, moving donated items to the designated area, runners between the kitchen & serving area, relieving staff at the coffee table, sorting of goods, clean-up at the end, and sharing information about the nature of the event.
Your time is a gift that is always valued. We hope you’ll consider joining the team for all or part of the day.
